We stayed in the essential room and pool pavilion room, and loved them both. The design and concept of this hotel is superb. I love every little detail about this place, and so want to give this hotel a perfect review, but i can't...unfortunately there are a couple of things that really letting it down. If it wasn't a 5* hotel, they could probably get away with it.
My main issue with this hotel is the service, or lack of service, something you expect in a 5* resort. We found front desk to be the worst. The staff were not at all helpful or forthcoming with information, which is strange considering reception is where you go for information. They were not rude, infact they were very friendly, but I felt that they lacked experience, and not speaking the best english didnt help either. So it's not clear if it's a language barrier thing or just lack of training.
The breakfast buffet is limited in size which reflects the size of the hotel I suppose, but lack serious variety even though
