12/10/2010 Super heerlijk hotel. Prima uitvalbasis om de gehele stad te bezichtigen. Net buiten het oude centrum. Via het zo goed als voorgelegen park loop je deze zo binnen. Het hotel had een super ontbijtbuffet, gratis internet en vriendelijk personeel. Alleen de (mannelijke) receptie medewerkers spraken matig engels. De kamers waren voorzien van alle gemakken. Minibar, tv, heerlijke bedden, schoon sanitair, kluisje aanwezig. Echt een aanrader!

17/11/2009 Hotel rival Ridzene is een geweldig hotel.
Prachtige kamers en een mooie badkamer.
Er was een prima ontbijt.
Dineren deden we in het centrum dat maar 5 minuten van het hotel lag.
Riga is een ontzettende gezellige stad.
Een aanrader.

25/06/2009 Fantastic value for money, rooms lovely and warm, bath and 2 showers in bathroom, lovely toiletries. Plenty to choose from at breakfast.
Staff very helpful and fluent in English. Hotel perfectly situated and within walking distance of all tourist attractions, shops pubs etc. No need for any other means of transport during stay.
Will definitely recommend Skoosh.com and Reval Ridzene Hotel to friends for good value for money and hassle free bookings.

10/08/2009 Het is een mooi hotel, ligt precies tussen de uitgaanswijk en het centrum in.
Beiden zijn op loopafstand. Kamers zijn goed en service is ook goed. Erg mooie sauna op de hoogste verdieping met uitzicht. Meestal moet je wel van te voren even aangeven dat je er gebruik van gaat maken.

P.s. Als je uitgaat neem terug toch maar een taxi, want je loopt dan door een park waar nogal wat groepen jongeren met niet allemaal de juiste bedoelingen.

02/02/2009 Kon mijn vriend geen moment achterlaten of er zat alweer zo'n goedkope del om m heen. Ze laten de mannen echt niet met rust. Niet dat de mannen het erg vinden hoor. In elke uitgaansgelegenheid is wel een soort van striptease show of is er de mogelijkheid om een dame te boeken. De stad is mooi, maar het stappen is echt alleen voor kerels. Die vermaken zich daar wel

25/06/2009 The rooms are spacious, bathroom is new with a separate shower and bath. The view from our room on the third floor looked out over the park.

The top floor of the hotel has a little fitness room with great views! Plus a sauna and relaxation room.

The best part was the breakfast -- wow the selections were fantastic with many choices.

The only bad experience was that when we arrived the hotel reservation desk said our hotel had not been paid by skoosh...I thought we were scammed, but in the end the reception was able to connect with skoosh to receive full payment. It was a little embarrasing, but in the end everything worked out!

25/06/2009 Rooms: Nice, clean standard size rooms. We got a smoking room as the hotel was full, but you couldn't tell. Small details to show that it is a five star, and a nice bathroom. Cable tv with som English channels.

Bar/restaurant: Nice and cozy bar with stylish interior. The breakfast buffet was lovely and one of the better I've tasted at hotels in a while (and I've worked in the hotel business for 5 years now). The upper class restaurant also served lovely dinner in the evening.

Staff: Very polite and helpful throughout the whole stay. Extra credit to our waiter in the restaurant.

Location: Centrally situated in the embassy area with two nice parks on each side.

Total impression: Without knowing too much about hotel standards in Riga, I would say it lives up to the 5-star classification (maybe in the lower end). I would definately recommend it.

25/06/2009 This is a very nice hotel.

Location - very good in between 2 parks. Only a short 5 minute walk to the old city.

Room - room was very small for 2 people- I think we were unlucky as our room seemed the smallest on the floor plan

Restaurant - extremely good and extensive breakfast buffet served in the Pyramid Restaurant.

Sauna - great sauna on top floor with great view of Riga

Staff - very pleasant and helpful

Overall, solid hotel which I would return to if i could be guaranteed a bigger room.

14/08/2007 Een goed hotel. Lekkere sauna op de bovenverdieping. Ligging is tussen de uitgaanswijk en de oude stad in aan een park. Oude stad is goed te lopen, ong. 5 minuten. Uitgaan is fantastisch in Riga, m.n. VooDoo (veel vrouwen alleen) en Essential (supermoderne club). Beiden op loopafstand. Zou terug wel een taxi nemen ondanks de korte afstand, want er zwerven nogal wat groepjes jongeren door het park die niet altijd goede bedoelingen schijnen te hebben. Verder top.
