25/06/2009 Excellent hotel. I loved it.
It's a very expensive hotel, but thanks to the rate I got with Skoosh I was able to stay there for a conference. The room they gave me was beautiful and VERY spacious, almost like a suite.

Great location; very close to the Convention Center and museums.

One disappointment: it didn't have a refrigerator or a lock box. They told me I could have requested the refrigerator. Since I only stayed there two days I didn't request it.
I didn't inquire about the lock box in the room

I highly rrecommend the Renaissance Hotel and I will book there again (only with Skoosh rates)

25/06/2009 Accomodations were nice and staff very helpful. I would go here again when I visit DC next time.

25/06/2009 On the positive side, this hotel was convenient to the Metro and many Washington DC landmarks. However, this is where the positives end. My room was nice and relatively clean, but there was no guest services book in sight. It took over an hour to get a room service menu delivered so I could order dinner. The meeting rooms alternated between oven and refrigerator temperature and the food service was not coordinated well with the speakers. If you weren't served early, you starved until the speaker finished.

25/06/2009 The rooms were fairly standard, but comfortable. Room service met their stated timeframe (35 minutes for dinner) and above average (20% tip included in charges but no attempts for more). Free wireless in the spacious lobby, or high speed connection in room for $10/day. Sports bar had limited screens/channels and felt more like a restaurant. Limited but good menu. Starbucks off lobby. Main restaurant average. Very courteous staff. At $230 a night for a disoounted standard room the price is typical of DC. Expectations met but not exceeded.

25/06/2009 Everything was great. We got in earlry and they gave us our room. We asked for a late check out and they gave us a late check out. The room was clean, the staff was great what more can I say?

25/06/2009 This was a very nice hotel. The room for 2 adults and 2 kids was HUGE. The beds were very very comfortable. Great drinks in the sports bar. Also the gym was very nice, it had all the work out equipment you could need. And the best part is that is was FREE! The locker area and sauna area were outdated and old but at not cost is was just fine.
Starbucks is right in the lobby so you cant beat that.

25/06/2009 Beautiful place. The reservation people were GREAT. The Concierge people were great. The check in people were a little "snooty". They seemed like they really didn't want to answer ant questions.The valet parking people were great too.
