I stayed one night prior to running the Royal Victoria Marathon. The hotel was fairly close to the start. The room accommodations were tolerable. The room was clean. I was in a quiet hallway but Room 215 is right next to street traffic which can be disturbing if you're a light sleeper. I had to run the water for a few minutes to get hot water. The manager was very kind and had a continental breakfast ready for all those early start runners at 6am. Thank you. I made it back in time to the room for a quick shower (took a while to get hot water again) before check out. I was disappointed at check out when I turned in my key. I was charged an energy surcharge of $1.71. This was never explained to me by the hotel at check in.
